AIDA Cruises Partners with Rostock

Per a press release shared today, Germany’s largest cruise company, AIDA Cruises, will once again be the main sponsor of one of the world’s largest maritime events from August 8 to 11, 2024. With AIDAmar and AIDAdiva, two ships will be guests in Warnemünde on Friday and Saturday. On shore, AIDA invites you to get to know the AIDA vacation world at two locations in the city harbor: on an area of more than 600 m² on the Haedge peninsula and on the silo terraces at the AIDA Cruises company headquarters. If you want to see the AIDA ships from more than just the quayside, you should take part in the big raffle. AIDA is giving away a travel voucher worth 3,000 euros.

“Rostock and AIDA Cruises have been inextricably linked for almost three decades. Our ships travel to the most beautiful ports in the world, but our company has its home port here in Rostock. We are delighted to be the main sponsor of the 33rd Hanse Sail again this year, helping to provide further important growth impetus for Rostock as a cruise location and for tourism in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern across generations and nations,” said Dirk Inger, Senior Vice President Public Affairs, Communication & Sustainability at the opening press conference of the Hanse Sail 2024.

When AIDAmar docks at the Warnemünde Cruise Center for the last time this season on November 4, 2024, another successful season will come to an end for AIDA Cruises with a total of 69 ship calls. Cruise fans can also see AIDA ships up close at the Hanse Sail in Warnemünde. On Friday, August 9, 2024, AIDAmar will arrive at 8 am from Norway. At around 6 pm, the ship and its guests will then set sail on a 10-day voyage to the most beautiful destinations in the Baltic Sea region, such as Riga, Latvia, Helsinki and Stockholm. On Saturday, August 10, 2024, AIDAdiva will also be visiting Warnemünde, coming from Copenhagen, between 8 am. and 6 pm, before casting off for a seven-day trip to Norway.
