Carnival Cruise Line announced that Carnival Sunshine will restart on January 13, 2022 from Charleston, SC and Carnival Liberty will restart on February 11, 2022. Carnival will have 17 other ships operating by the end of 2021. Those ships include:
- Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream and Carnival Vista out of Galveston, TX
- Carnival Freedom, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Conquest out of Miami, FL
- Mardi Gras, Carnival Elation and Carnival Magic out of Port Canaveral, FL
- Carnival Glory and Carnival Valor out of New Orleans, LA
- Carnival Panorama, Carnival Radiance and Carnival Miracle out of Long Beach, CA
- Carnival Legend out of Baltimore, MD
- Carnival Pride out of Tampa, FL
