Celebrity Cruises President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo announced today that Captain Kate McCue, the first American female cruise ship captian, will take the helm of the Celebrity Beyond. The Celebrity Beyond is part of the Edge Series of ships and will be debuting in early 2022.
This is not Captain Kate McCue’s first ship she will be at the helm of. She previously Captained the Celebrity Summit, the Celebrity Equinox and the Celebrity Edge.
