Princess Cruises Announces “The Love Boat” Themed Cruise

Princess Cruises announced on November 3rd a special “Love Boat” themed cruise that will set sail on a 7 day roundtrip cruise from the Port of Los Angeles to the Mexican Riviera from February 26 – March 5, 2022. The cruise is to celebrate the life of and be a tribute to actor Gavin MacLeod (Captain Stubing).

The cruise will be hosted by Princess Cruises Celebrations Ambassador Jill Whelan (Vicki Stubing), Cynthia Lauren Tewes (Julie McCoy), Bernie Kopell (Doc), Fred Grandy (Gopher), and Ted Lange (Isaac). While on board, they will all share memories from the show, participate in guest activities and celebrate the late Gavin MacLeod, who passed away last year in May.

Gavin MacLeod’s birthday, which is February 28th, will be occuring while the Majestic Princess is under way and will be following the Mexican Riviera itenerary that the Love Boat followed on the TV series.
