Royal Caribbean pauses sailings from Florida

Royal Caribbean has announced cancellations on four of it’s ships that sail out of Florida.

The Symphony of the Seas was supposed to have set sail today (January 8th) and notified passengers on January 7th that the cruise was cancelled. Royal Caribbean has also cancelled 2 other cruises and currently plans to set sail again on January 29th.

The Jewel of the Seas is also suspending its sailings and won’t return to service until Febuary 20th.

The Serenade of the Seas is taking an extended break as it won’t return to Tampa until April. It was supposed to set sail today, but that cruise was cancelled. The Serenade of the Seas is scheduled to be in drydock until April.

Lastly, the Vision of the Seas was supposed to resume service on January 24th from Port Everglades, but that has also been put on hold until March.
